Pressbooks were sent only to theater owners to promote and advertise the movie and are  rare especially without cuts.This collection has been of the utmost importance to me and has been stored in a temperature controlled room. When purchasing pressbooks, remember that many were stored in the basements and attics of theaters, and could be damp or marked. I have rarely added to my collection any pressbooks that were not in very good condition. Please note that these images were all scanned, so you have a perfect example of what you are getting, I don't believe in far away pictures where you cannot see the condition of the pages. Some pressbooks have thinner pages and the scanner with the very bright light often will pick up the print on the other side, so please keep that in mind when looking at the photos, this does not show when looking at the page and also the scanner may produce shadows or darker areas, mainly on the extreme sides of the pages, which are not there.

Pressbook has NEVER BEEN FOLDED. It is in neat mint condition, it would be almost impossible to find one in better condition. Gorgeous front and back full color covers, many 2-color-pages inside. many fascinating pages of stories about the film and its stars, beautiful multi-style advertisements and so much more. No marks, cuts, folds, corners are nice and sharp, a real collectible that will only gain in value. 28 HUGE PAGES!
This is an original (not copied) authentic piece of Hollywood memorabilia!  All pages are printed on a beautiful glossy paper.
This auction includes an original studio one sheet poster (27" x 41") from the film
(see last photo)! This poster is NOT a copy or reproduction but a studio original. While pressbooks are my main business, I am now including other movie collectibles  that I have amassed over the years. The pressbook in all of our auctions is the main item because that is my specialty. I do not grade or describe the condition of the posters as I am not an expert on movie posters, stills or lobby cards, it is up to you to study the photo as to the poster's condition. We guarantee that the photo posted here is a direct photo of the poster included (the poster image can be enlarged). Some posters have some kind of defect  whether it might be pinholes or writing on the back, blemishes, tears, creases, taped areas, an area with a rippled effect (probably from dampness, which can usually be seen on the scans, but not always) so please look very carefully as most of these have been used by theaters. On the other hand as I look through these, some are in great condition as well and a few look like they were never used. So it is up to you to study the photo.

ALL PRESSBOOKS ARE MAILED WITH A COLLECTABLE PLASTIC COVER (one for each if you buy more than one) AND IN A LARGE STURDY CARDBOARD AND ALL ARE MAILED UNFOLDED!!! This is why the shipping/materials cost is what it is. I've never had shipping damage with these mailers, which actually cost me .65 per shipment and you have a nice size-fitted plastic cover so your pressbook stays in top shape for years, these cost me $.75 each. We take very good care of these collectables. PLEASE NOTE THAT I NOW GIVE YOU A CHOICE OF MAILING SPEEDS. IF YOU SELECT MEDIA MAIL, YOU ARE WAITING UNTIL THE ITEM SHIPS THE FOLLOWING MONDAY (all items are shipping the Monday after the auction ends,,,see last paragraph) plus about 4-9 days in shipping. Priority is usually much quicker, but we still ship everything on Mondays. If you are not in a hurry, Media Mail saves you .00. Priority is not cheap with this size (unfolded) package. I do NOT believe in making a profit on postage. In most cases, including the protective cover and large cardboard size, I lose a few dollars on shipping.
ABOUT MY FEEDBACK:
Since Ebay does not allow sellers to respond to negative feedback, I will do so here. I have been on Ebay quite a long time. I have always been very fair with feedback and usually it is positive. My feedback was earned through alot of hard work trying my best to please my customers. You will note I have a few negatives now. You just can't please everybody. The feedback that I have received that is negative (3 out of about 1,000), one person never contacted me that they were sent a pressbook with a cut in it, I simply sent the wrong one. I certainly would have corrected the problem immediately if they had just told me. I replaced it immediately. The other 2 are from someone who misunderstood that I send my pressbooks out on Tuesdays and they go Media Mail, which was an additional 4-8 days. She expected them in a few days. I completely refunded her total postage (after the negative feedback) even though the items were sent as stated. If you have a problem, PLEASE contact me and I will do everything I can to correct an error. This is my personal promise.
