The Alabama Governor’s One Shot Turkey Hunt is an exclusive annual, invitation-only event hosted by the Governor of Alabama. This special hunt started in 2002 and the event typically hosts 75 to 80 individuals each year. Participants include representatives from industry, commerce, entertainment, sports celebrities and the news media. The goal of the Governor’s Hunt is to showcase Alabama as a preferred destination for business, industry, and nature-based recreation. The hunt also generates college scholarships to Alabama and Auburn Universities. M.L.
