I've been repairing electronics for years, and have repaired lots of DJI Phantom 4 series lithium batteries.
They can go bad in a few ways:
1. Cells will go bad due to over charge/discharge, or poor maintenance.
2. There are two boards; one attached to the cells, and another where the chips are. Either can fail.
3. Software issues. If certain conditions occur - including all the ones above - an error will be stored in the battery's computer which will prevent it from being used, charged, or discharged.
Well, I can fix them all (Except for water damage!)  After they are repaired I will bench, and test fly them before sending them back to you with a 30 warranty, and some instructions on how to care for them.
I charge if no cells, or PCBs need to be replaced, but if so, it's just per cell, and per circuit board, provided I have them in stock. The majority of repairs end up being just with shipping

included.
If they cannot be fixed, I will NOT charge you, and you will get 100% of the service cost refunded immediately!
This charge is for the service ONLY, not a battery. Shipping either way is not included.
After purchasing the service I will email the address for you to send the batteries to. You mail them to me. I will check them out and let you know if there will be any extra charges. Usually there isn't, and if that's the case I will just go ahead and repair them.
Once it's all done I will email you to let know what the return shipping cost is going to be, and it is usually less than what you would have paid to send them here. Also, I found that the shipping costs are pretty much the same rather you mail one, or four batteries. Give or take a couple of Dollars.
